Accessories For Packaging

Accessories offer a great way to customize the unboxing experience of your packaging. Explore the various options available for inserts, handles, closures, and more.

Accessories

Custom Inserts

Think inside the box! Custom inserts make your box even more special. They are ideal to present your product with an additional “wow” and hold all your pieces securely in place. A box insert can be created from different materials, depending on your product specifications and preferences. While a corrugated insert is ideal for holding heavy duty samples in place, a paperboard insert has a more elegant appeal to it, while foam inserts add extra cushioning and protection.

Finger Pulls and Notches

Finger pulls or thumb notches on packaging can serve a few different purposes. They are an eco-friendly alternative to ribbon pulls, allowing you to easily open drawer style boxes or lift reveals. They also help when removing a box that’s stored on a shelf.

Handles

For packaging that travels with your sales team or is larger in size, a handle is a convenient accessory. We offer different types of handles for your corrugated boxes, sales totes, or folding carton applications.

Closures

The closure mechanism of your packaging is an elemental part of the unboxing experience. Elegantly hidden magnets in your luxury packaging generate a fulfilling snap effect when opening and closing your box. For corrugated or folding carton packaging, VELCRO® closures are another option for those box styles that don’t have a built-in tuck-lock to keep your packaging securely closed.

Accessories For Presentation Materials

We create presentation materials that set your brand apart with the right accessories to help you achieve the desired look and feel. From binder rings to finger pulls and handles, there are many options to customize your binder or pocket folder design.

Accessories

Binder Rings

The right binder ring makes a difference in the form and function of your custom binder. The best indicator of which 3-ring mechanism you need is how much paper and what size paper you are putting in your binder. This will dictate the size of the ring you need. Whether you want boosters (the tabs on the end of a binder mechanism that help it open and close), will depend on aesthetics and how often the binder is being opened (boosters help keep rings from bending).

D-Ring: In a D-ring, the paper is held evenly on the right, meaning that your tab dividers all line-up and there is a clean line of paper. A D-ring always mounts on the back panel of a binder – not the spine – so the paper rests on the flat part of the ring when it is closed. This makes the cover a little wider.

Round Ring (or O-ring): A round ring can mount on the spine of a binder, so the covers, front and back, are a little shorter. It is easy to turn pages since it is a continuous curve. The issue with seeing tab dividers toward the bottom of the stack of information is negligible in smaller rings and up to you to decide if it is an issue in large rings. A lot of people don’t see it as a problem.

We are happy to help you find the best ring for your project. Just ask!

Finger Pulls

Finger pulls make it easy to remove 3-ring binders from shelves and actually extend the life of the binder by reducing stress and wear on the top of the spine. They are also a nice design detail, no matter if you prefer a simple die-cut hole or a metal finish.

Handles

For those who will be taking a binder to offsite meetings, adding a handle may help. Our standard handles are available in black and white.

Closures

From VELCRO® dots in white or black to magnets, your portfolio closure will be secured. For pocket folders, we also offer unique tuck-lock designs that don’t require additional components to keep them closed.

Pockets

The binder pocket is a type of pocket that can be 3-hole punched or adhered to the liner. We design your binder pockets to your exact specifications with extra room to hold up to 25 sheets of paper easily, as well as a business card and even a brochure or DVD.

For your folders, our pockets are also anything but standard. You can choose between hundreds of existing dies, or even create your own new style. We offer horizontal and vertical pockets, round or straight, flat or expandable, custom pockets to hold USB flash drives, and a combination of them.

Business Card Cuts

We offer select styles of business card cuts free of charge on horizontal pockets of your folders. Business card cuts allow your sales team to add their contact information to the kit in a convenient way.

Liners

The liner of a 3-ring binder is not just a blank space that the interior pages cover, it is a rich design space that adds life, information and interest to your presentation.

Corner Protectors

Corner protectors are a fashionable go-to detail that looks beautiful and keeps the corners of your heavily used binders looking great for years to come.

Binder Clips

When you want to hold a pad of paper in your custom binder, a clip is an easy and attractive way to do it. Binder clips are a valuable addition to get the most out of your binder.

Accessories For Sample Kits

Sample kits are designed for continuous interaction as your audience explores your offering. The right accessories make it easy to handle your sample displays, such as handles to carry your sample boxes or finger pulls to easily remove your architectural folders from the shelf.

Accessories

Custom Inserts

For your sample boxes, a custom insert is a great way to hold your product samples securely in place. We’ll work with you to make sure your products are well protected while also presenting them in style.

Binder Rings

You can easily accessorize your architectural folder or sample board with binder rings if you’d like to add printed information or display your hole-punched swatches in a ring. Please ask your sales representative for guidance or learn more about our binder ring options here

Finger Pulls

A finger pull, with or without metal, provides easy access to your architectural folder or strap set on a crowded shelf. They are also a design element that can be incorporated into your graphics.

Handles

Adding a handle helps your sales team if they travel with your display tools. Architectural folders, sample boxes, sample boards, or strap sets can all be customized with handles, whether they are die-cut into the board or accessories to be added to your piece.

Closures

We offer a variety of closure options ranging from magnets to VELCRO® dots to ensure we achieve the opening experience you envision. For your corrugated sample boxes, we can also create tuck-lock style closure mechanisms.

Pockets

You can always add pockets to your architectural folders to accommodate printed materials like brochures or business cards. Choose between custom paper pockets or standard vinyl pockets that can be applied to your piece.
